Esta es la configuración de la bendita máquina:Board Chipset Processor Physical Memory Video Card HD Pues resulta que me trajeron este equipito para formatearlo pues llevaba un año archivado sin uso (literalmente archivado en un armario), y cuando fui a cacharrearle encontré los siguientes síntomas:Perdonen por lo largo del Post, pero no quería que se me escapara ningun detalle, si tienen alguna recomendación o hipótesis que me sirva para solucionar mi problema se los agradeceré mucho. Un detalle que me llamó la atención es que la fuente está colocada en 115v y no en 110V como las demás fuentes, tendrá eso algo que ver?. Tengo un problema al intentar grabar un DVD con Nero mi compu es una Dell M1210 lo raro es que me pasa solo al intentar grabar DVD (imation). no e probado con otro. Cordial saludos comunidad,Un equipo Ubuntu con el kernel generic básico solo reconoce 3.2GB de RAM, conociendo que es una limitación del método directo de direccionamiento, quisiera saber qué experiencia han tenido y que observaciones pueden hacer al respecto activando la característica PAE (Physical Address Extension) en el kernel para tener acceso al total de la memoria; además si conocen otras formas de solucionar esta limitación comentenlas, qué anomalías notaron, ¿por qué la recomiendan?, ¿por qué no?.Sabemos que con un sistema operativo de 64bits el direccionamiento no es un problema, pero para algunos aún no es viable esta solución. Uno de los motivos más comunes es no disponer de versiones de 64bits para algunos programas. Por eso el foro tiene al título ""Sistemas operativos Linux de 32bits con 4GB de RAM"" excluyendo de momento la alternativa de 64bits, eso sí, rogando que madure rapidamente para pronto disfrutar totalmente de sus bendiciones.Gracias por su participación.

Me demore un tiempo pero logre cortar y lijar los laterales y la parte superior, le lleve la torre a mi amigo Sheyl para que la pintara de naranja la parte interna y le hiciera un diseño de flamas con el aerografo a la parte externa... duro como una semana pues para darle lacado bien brillante necesitaba esperar que hiciera un trabajo con una moto y aprovechar el sobrante (recuerden que el trabajo me lo hizo gratis) y como obsequio le lleve varios tutoriales de aerografia que descargue por torrent, varios videos de graffiti y algunas peliculas de anime.(Si alguien en pereira le interesa aerografiar su PC,moto carro o lo que sea me puede avisar)hasta ahora solo he gastado dinero en transporte y $7000 en pintura naranja y negra.Una noche me dio por hacer algo de vandalismo >D y consegui un lcd de 2x16 marca samsung de un tel publico que ya estaba algo dañado y no lo he probado todavia pero que creo le quedara muy bien al pc (si funciona)El acrilico no lo he comprado todavia pues no se con que clase de tornillos lo puedo poner...

Tengo un Intel Pentium Corel duo 3.40GHz (One Physical Processor / 2 Cores / 2 Logical Processors / 64 bits)El equipo me estaba dando problemas tonces decidí formatiarlo y le instalé Windows XP (Professional) Service Pack 2 original, y el problema se solucionó (Se bloqueaba y quedaba la pantalla en negro)......Pero después de instalar el SO y lo demás, no hace sino resetearse... Ok, probably not that last part, but you get the point; high-nerdery was clearly afoot at the Sheraton Dubai Creek. One of the more prominent topics of discussion was Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows 7. While a number of exploits and potential vulnerabilities of the system were discussed at the conference, one identified loophole in the system has security professionals troubled…and morbidly fascinated.A team of researchers located an exploit within the new operating system that can allow hackers to take control of a user's machine during the startup process. The problem was identified by Vipin Kumar and Nitin Kumar, who created a program called VBootKit 2.0 that exploits the weakness and allows a hacker to bypass the machine's hard drive entirely, making it nearly impossible to detect. Once hackers can implement the software, they can then change access permissions, passwords, and gain access to a user's sensitive information. What's worse, a program like the one created by Vipin and Nitin Kumar can be as small as 3KBs, and thus can be spread rapidly.
